DifferentiatorsWe see the following as important differentiators in the service we bring to our clients. o We provide up to 3 experienced facilitators, as appropriate, to the project o John Lennon is the only Value Management facilitator in Tasmania registered with the Institute of Value Management Australia Inc. o Our two Directors together with our Senior Sub-consultant Ron Sanderson have over 100 years of combined experience including: - o Senior Executive Service in the State Government o Senior Managerial experience in State and Local Government o Experience in the Private and Public sectors o In depth knowledge of Value Management, Project Management, Total Quality Management, Continuous Improvement and Contract Management. o In addition, the Directors were involved in the Change Management process of the State Road Authority in Tasmania from a Day Labour organisation to an Owner/Provider focused organisation. Our ongoing involvement in an organisation that has undergone the metamorphism from a “Day Labour” Agency to one focused on “Enabling” gives us a unique understanding of the pitfalls that face other organisations considering a similar journey. o We are experienced in the delivery of Value Management studies in accordance with the Australian/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS 4183:1994) and have delivered Risk Management Workshops in accordance with the Australian/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS 4360:1995). o We have facilitated workshops ranging from transport infrastructure concept studies to maintenance operations, strategic planning, business planning, risk management and organisational restructuring. o We have been involved in the establishment of Quality Systems, Continuous Improvement programs and training seminars relating to quality, value management, continuous improvement and contract management. o As appropriate, workshop proceedings are recorded on transparencies, audiotapes and butcher paper to ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting and that all key information and outcomes are documented in the study report. o Reports are professionally bound and include a one or two page Executive Summary suitable for reporting to executive management and as a tool for briefing Chief Executive Officers, Board members and elected members of government. o As part of our service, we provide, on a compact disk, an electronic copy of the study report together with any other electronic material and digital photographs, such as workshop participants, that may be suitable for inclusion in newsletters, magazines and websites. o Our lump sum fee includes all time based costs from initial contact through strategy and planning meetings with the client; thorough preparation for the workshop including site familiarisation and venue inspections; planning the workshop; facilitation of the workshop; debriefing with the client after the workshop; and preparation of draft reports and the final report. The final report is presented as one hard copy and on compact disk together with any other appropriate material from the value study.
